With one of our all-star small groups

 

When someone says, “Do you want to be part of a small group? The first question most people ask is what is a small group?    The idea is for a few people who attend the church to get together away from church to take the opportunity to visit and talk about different topics.  Some of the groups might focus on men’s issues or women’s topics, while others may review issues of interest to anyone.   Groups meet in someone’s home and usually last about one hour or so.  Small groups are a great way to get to know others from the church and grow in your faith.  If you are interested in joining a small group, please let John or Chris at the church office know what time works best for you. 

Currently these groups meet on the following days:

Sunday

Men’s Group meets with Pastor Dan in Church Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. includes Jason Bell, John Cross, Adam Maher, Shane Kady, Matt Osborne, Dick Schell, Pastor Dan Bowman, Vic Chappel, Brent Kelly, Jon Keys, Todd Franzel, Don Smith and Tim Marquardt. 

                     Small Group at Pat & Debbie Wilson’s on Sunday evening at 6:30pm includes Ken & Barb Patriquin, Randy & Judy Hostetler, Don & Sherryl Potter, Pat & Deb Wilson and Sarah Kady.

Monday

Small Group at Wayne & Chris Bell’s on Monday at 7:00 pm includes Dale & Rita Mero,  Jeremy & Erin Roberts, Mike & Susan Hutchens, John & Sue Diel, Dan & Suzie Potter, Amanda Diel, Chris & Wayne Bell, Kim & Emery Anstett and Doris Huntoon.

                        Small Group at Jackie & Terry Reid’s on Monday at 7:00 pm includes Dick & Kim Schell, Paul & Florence Dunsford, Tina McCann, Don & Deb Smith,  Tom & Michele House, Pat Smith, Jackie Borsick, Chris & Gina Titus, Terry & Jackie Reid, John Sharp and Pat Turner.The group is currently studying the Book of Revelations. 

 

Tuesday

Small group for Ladies called the Little Women meets at 6:30 pm (call for details) includes Linda Warner, Doris Huntoon, Pat Ross, Morna Rinn, Micki Smith, Lynda Keys, Cathy Farmer, Viviene Huntoon, Dianne Herpolsheimer, Christy Hines, Pam & Jeanne Cowdry.

United Methodist Women meet monthly (1^st Tuesday of the month) at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall or at a location announced previously.  This group is open to all women of the Church but regular attendees include Ann Rakow, Julia Robbins, Elizabeth Snow,, Carol Dale, Kathleen Baldwin, Judy Hostetler, Orpha Thompson, Mary Ellen Linton, Karen Allen, Shirley Stevens, and Marian Stieler. Currently the group is studying the book called Heaven by Randy Alcorn.

Wednesday

Promise Keepers meets each Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The group consists of Pastor Dan, Pastor Mike Hollenbeck, Terry Maltby, Jeff Dunsford, Paul Dunsford, Ken Patriquin, Scott Bohms, Randy Hostetler, Don Brush  and John Gross.

Small Group known as Radical Hearts meets at the church at 1 p.m. with Chris Titus facilitating.  The groups includes Alyson Edwards, Marian Stieler,  , Holli Boyles,  Vicki Hudson,Delores Haag, Reneau Nutt, Mary Greenwood, Donna Flannigan and Gina Titus . The group is currently studying a Joyce Meyers series called the Love Revolution.  Each lesson is separate so join anytime.

Thursday

Small group at John & Scharla Tapson’s on Thursday at 7:00 pm includes Jeff & Tammy Dunsford, Russ & Bonnie Liebler, Chris & Gina Titus, Scott & Cathy Orr, Pat Heintz, Gordon Pabst, Chuck Zampich, John & Scharla Tapson and Don & Sherryl Potter, Michelle House, Dolores Haag  and Larry & Colleen Aultman. They often choose a book from the Bible and study that.
